If your comfortable in vim you only use the j,h,k,l movement keys leaving the arrow keys open to do
something more useful like window resizing!

nnoremap <Up>    :resize -2<CR>
nnoremap <Down>  :resize +2<CR>
nnoremap <Left>  :vertical resize -2<CR>
nnoremap <Right> :vertical resize +2<CR>
```
